IMVU New Year Resolutions
It’s that time of year again where we decide what our resolutions are going to be, and what we want to achieve in the following year. So, I thought I would make it slightly easier for you all and write a small list of five things I think would make some great virtual resolutions for 2018.
Start an IMVU business.
Owning and operating your own IMVU business can be both lucrative and fun! But, it requires a lot of patience. Depending on the type of business you may also need investments. If you're looking for advice, or tips we recommend using hashtags on Instagram to find other business owners on IMVU, and giving any that jump out at you a polite message.
Potential businesses:
Club/Restaurant/Bar;
Clinic;
Daycare;
Salon;
Wedding/ Event Planner;
Celebrity Manager;
Record Company;
Photography.
Extending your IMVU family.
Regardless of your marital status or social situation allowing more family into your circle can be very rewarding. It doesn't always have to be a child, you could look for a twin, mother, father or even a godparent. I know having family on IMVU is very common but if you're new to building a family we suggest you look for a person(s) who is trustworthy, honest and caring with those kinds of qualities you're sure to have a lifelong friend who you can depend on and versus.
Start a Blog.
Blogging is an amazing way to express yourself with both pictures and words. Most people use blogging to make a replica of the life they either have or want in real life using their avatars and props/clutter you can purchase from the shop you also have the freedom of blogging for developers or starting a fashion blog to show off your great sense of style, interested? Create an IMVU Youtube Channel.
I know you see a lot of real-life faces on this platform, but it doesn't mean it's restricted to just that. Download a screen recorder get a script or voice over and start making IMVU music videos or skits. Not only could you get your IMVU name and brand out there you also have the chance of raking in 5k a month in ad sponsors if your videos get enough views.
Make some money.
IMVU is a place we go to escape the harsh realities of real life, but there comes a time when we have to merge the two together to make it better for ourselves in real life and virtually. So for that, we recommend finding a way to make some money on IMVU. Below are a few ways you could do so successfully:
Become a content creator and cash out;
Sell custom artwork/icons and banners;
Hold paid graphics/creating classes if you're skilled enough;
Sell textures;
Create Custom meshes/products for IMVU users;
Make a virtual Youtube channel and get enough views to attract sponsors.
