Meet The Melanins

Once upon a time, in the RL world far away from IMVU, Lonnie met Ashlee. They both fell head over heels in love, and had what you call a teenage love story. Their relationship blossomed over nine whole years, and now, here they are, with us on IMVU, sharing their fairy tale of a life with their beautiful family, The Melanins.

The Melanin’s are the family you may class as your “goals” as you see them video blogging their family life on Instagram and YouTube. They have been “vlogging” since March 25th 2016, taking real-life family situations to roleplay on IMVU. It’s something their family will forever be remembered by. Vlogging for the Melanin’s has been a great way for them to continue bonding and working together, as Ashlee says, “Teamwork makes the dream work.” As a family, they come up with ideas, while Lonnie and Ashlee do the filming and editing.

Vlogging is not the only thing that brings them together; the Melanin’s love to spend quality time together as real families do. You may be wondering, “What’s a typical weekend like at the Melanins?” There isn’t one! As a family, they love going out to eat, reading books, shopping, playing, roaming around, watching movies, and when Lonnie is engaged with work commitments, they all travel. Lonnie and Ashlee focus a great deal on their kids, showing them much love and attention.

Do you want to know what’s amazing about these two? Although Lonnie and Ashlee have strong stable careers – as a promoter/producer for Amor Records and a OB/GYN/surgeon – they still make sure their kids are the most important part of their life.

Having such a well-rounded family, Lonnie and Ashlee finally got married on December 10, 2016, after nine years together!
