Xplosive Girls-Only Kids Dance Team
CasixDBD@IMVU; Cassidy or Casi as most call her, is the Owner and Head coach of the dance team, Xplosive Divas. After a bad experience with the dance group POP, Casi chose to create her own group showing that not only did she have what it takes, but could create a group without the drama she had experienced before.
The drama she had experienced while in POP was the kind of variety that would cause anyone else to walk away from the world of dance and dance competition, but not Casi. While in POP she had witnessed favoritism and unfair treatment between the various dancers, she set out to create a group where each dancer felt like a valued part of the group. At this time Casi creates majority of their routines herself, however, she is open to any of the other dancers giving suggestions and ideas.
The creation of Xplosive Divas took place on December 17th, 2015 when Casi and her friends had spent time shopping Lilmissmyaelite. Currently there are five dancers on the team; including Casi herself, though they are hoping to grow that number as they search for girls between the ages of 3 and 10 years old. The team currently meets Monday to Thursday from 5PM to 7PM central time, Fridays being their meeting day. Casi has said at times it can be difficult getting everyone online at the same time for practice, but they come out on top with a win in the end. So far they have won 8 battles; being both captain and team battles included in this number, their most recent win being the battle ROYALE and hopefully their next win will be the Summerslam Competition.
As a way to continue team unity they have uniforms which have been created by LilMissDanceWorld; who is currently the top dance team uniform creator, and enjoy wearing different uniforms for each competition or battle. As a whole, the Xplosive Divas are competitive and hard workers being sure to enjoy each moment of their dancing experience while going for the win. The Xplosive Divas may be a team by technicality, though anyone who takes a moment to observe them will see they are more like a family enjoying in something they love.
Casi had said herself that she can see all of them remaining as a team in the future because of the bond that has been created between each and every one of them. Her final quote she left us with being "Don't let anyone tell you, you can't do something. If you want to do something, get up and do it! Don't let any female or male stop you from doing what you're suppose to be doing." Very well said Casi.
