Niyaux's Elementary School
Although school has started, we know that there are still a number of children who are yet to find a place in a good one. If that’s you, or someone you know, read on to find out about an exciting new school you really should consider!
Niyaux@IMVU, also known as Chrissy, has just opened an Elementary School for children aged 4-12 years, which opens daily from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, with tutoring sessions at 5:30pm and an Afterschool program which starts at 6:00pm (EST). They also have a uniform for all children, with the colors blue, gold and white, which is optional on field trip days.
The school has classrooms, a cafeteria, a computer room and a gym. There are classrooms for the two different age groups of 4-6 year olds and 7-12 year olds. Each group has a curriculum consisting of Math, English, Science, and History. English will be Grammar and Foreign Language, Math will be basic counting, Science will be about nature and experiments, and History will be covering all countries across the world. The curriculum incorporates relevant storytelling and role-play in each subject to make the classes enjoyable.
Every child loves their food, so they will also provide a meal to keep the little tummies happy. The cafeteria service healthy full course meals, consisting of meat, vegetables, fruit, milk and juice. If the child prefers to bring their own lunches, they are free to do so.
Parents can come to drop-off and pickup their kids, however if they’re unable to for any reason, they can arrange for their child to be added to the pickup and drop-off list where the school will arrange to get your kids in safely - they don’t want any strangers running off with the children. Children will also be allowed to attend without supervision, provided they have parental permission.
The tutoring sessions start as soon as classes are over, and they are designed to help children on homework, or give extra tasks and activities to those who are interested.
The Afterschool program is designed for kids to come and have fun, for as long as they want from 6:00pm EST. It has many activities, including dance, plays, and prep rallies. Children are allowed to join any of these, and will also have the chance to create their own if three other students vows to join. If they wish to schedule their own competitions, they can do so, with administration approval.
Students will not be required to attend daily, so don’t worry, they won’t be in trouble if they are unable to come! As for those who do attend daily, they will have a good chance of winning Student of the Week. This competition will run on a weekly basis, allowing for that star student to win prizes, such as a gift, a website feature, and a surprise!
