How Can Greek Be More United.

Lately, the Greek community has been spiraling downward; there is a lack of decorum, class, and to say the least, RESPECT. However, we can get back on track and move forward as a united front. Below, I have given some pointers on how we can get back to where we need to be, which is more of a united front and being supportive of each other.

  1. Respect Everyone. We tend to forget that respect is owed no matter what. You may not like someone, but you should respect them;

  2. Stop shading each other. Throwing shade can be fun, however, it can get very slanderous;

  3. Keep issues and confrontations out of the public eye. This means stop posting and bashing other organizations on Instagram. Simply inbox them and hash it out;

  4. Stop causing unnecessary drama. Everything is not about your organization. Sometimes there is a bigger picture and we must come together to resolve it;

  5. Perception can be deceiving. What we showcase is how we are perceived. How we are perceived is only by what we showcase;

  6. RESEARCH!!! Many new organizations don’t tend to do an in-depth research of things, logistically speaking. So we need to do more research as to not step on any toes. I mean there are over 1000 species of animals and flowers in this world. An extra 15 minutes will not ruin your day;

  7. Your organizations business is just that….YOUR ORGANIZATIONS' BUSINESS! Everyone shouldn’t know your organizations business, nor should they have screenshots. That devalues your org and the perception of others not wanting to come around.

These are just some of the ways we can get back on a united front as one. “If there is no struggle, there is no progress.” There will definitely be a struggle, however, there will also be a progression to the betterment of the Greek community and its future on IMVU.
