Blogging 101: For Beginners

Ever since Instagram became popular amongst virtual world users, so has blogging. In this quick read, Tamekah, VXM's writer, writes some helpful tips for those of you who are thinking to start your own blog and joint he blogging community! Have patience, it's not an easy job – but someone's gotta do it!

Choose a platform Tumblr, Blogspot or you can even use Instagram. Just make sure whichever platform you go with is NSFW and xxx posts are permitted and not subject to be flagged if that is something you are interested in doing.

Decide what you want to blog about:

Fashion;
Lifestyle;
IMVU Review Blog;
Pornography Blog.

Advertise your blog Post on IMVU's Feed, Social Media and send a direct link to your blog to all your family and friends.

Network with other bloggers Type in the hashtag #imvublogger on Instagram or Tumblr to find other like-minded bloggers such as yourself and reach out to them for tips, advice or even a collab to help get your name out there.

Be patient and consistent Blogging is no easy task you have to wait months to get a decent amount of followers and to get the feedback you want, but do not let that discourage you. Try and push out a few posts a week. Follow other IMVU blogs, be active on the platform you have chosen to use by liking other posts, leaving comments and sharing other people's posts.

Invest in your craft If you're doing a lifestyle blog you can start off doing small scenes to save a penny. Otherwise, dig deep into the shop and buy the top of the line products to stay trendy and relevant within the community. Your blog reflects your brand and also your personality. So, invest wisely and make each post count.
