Omega Tau Psi’s Junior Facts
Greek fraternities and sororities have been around on IMVU for many years, many of which also have Junior lines for kids. These organizations are created by individuals, known as Founders, who seek to bring together like-minded people to achieve a particular goal, like Trophies, aka Sr. Brother Imperial, did on July 13, 2014 when he founded Omega Tau Psi. Greeks are generally lead by the Founder and the, “sub-leaders,” (i.e. President, Vice-President, Secretary, etc.). Many people join these organizations for different reasons, some of which include fellowship with other members, participating in events with other organizations, or simply just to find a place to help them break out of their solitary shell. No matter the reason, however, you can find a Greek almost anywhere on IMVU.
To be a part of a Greek, you must go through a process known as “pledging,” a process that is mandatory if you want to join a fraternity like OTP. Some of their requirements are:
Be at least 13 years old.
Dedicate 2-3 hours a day to class time.
Bond with fellow line members and members of the organization.
Be dedicated to the 2 week process.
Complete tasks on time.
Stay in your kid avi with your gear on at all times.
Pledges, juniors included, are also expected to learn about OTP’s history and motives and work on tasks that involve getting to know the members of the frat as well the sisterhood sorority, Delta Tau Psi (DTP), and of course, each other. The main goal is to make sure that everyone makes it through so you really have to sell yourself (but also stay true to you) and let the frat know why they should let you become a part of their brotherhood.
“Kids love being around people and being in a group. They play as kids on here to be in or have a family. OTP, along with our sisterhood DTP, is like one big family and we are all here for each other. We roleplay with the kids and everything. For teens, it’s an experience before going to college where they will be approached with real frats and soros.” - Trophies, founder of OTP.
Fun Facts About Omega Tau Psi
23 members (7 Senior brothers, 15 Big Brothers, and 1 Junior.
Recruits every 2-3 months (Next line in July or August).
Approximately 8 recruits per line, including Junior’s.
Hard work and fun is 50/50.

Joining a Greek, whether you are big or small, can provide a positive and fun way to be involved in something on IMVU. You get to meet new people, make new friends, and be a part of an extended family that will remain supportive of you in anything that you do.

Kids tend to tell folks about things that they accomplish and we are there to congratulate them because sometimes in real life they don’t get that support.
