A Love Story: JimCapo and lChrissyl

One day, in September of 2015, Jim was scrolling through his Instagram feed when, suddenly, a beautiful woman named Chrissy caught his eye. She was so intriguing to him that he quickly decided to send her a direct message and, from that day forth, they began communicating. During their conversations, Chrissy let it be known that, even though she was just as attracted to Jim as he was to her, she was only seeking a friendship due to her trust not being as strong as it once was. Jim, also, revealed that, prior to the pair meeting, he became a father to a set of now one year old twins, King and Royal. But it did not deter Chrissy. In fact, she adopted the twins, treating them as if they were her own.

Despite the revelation, the pair had created a bond over the following weeks, both cherishing the budding friendship and enjoying one another’s company. But, although Jim loved having Chrissy as a friend in his life, he wanted so much more and the platonic friendship just wasn’t enough. So, he began to pursue her, remaining persistent until, finally, by November’s end, Chrissy gave in and agreed to go on a date with him.

For Chrissy, their first date was a precious moment. It was an event for Jim’s family! He brought her to the gathering and introduced her to his family as his date, which set Chrissy at ease and caused her to realize just how serious he was about having her as his one and only. Jim’s mother was head over heels with Chrissy, which relaxed them both. Later on that night, Jim and Chrissy got a chance to sit together alone and get to know one another beyond a friendship level and that is the moment in which they pair became the infamous Jim and Chrissy Jones of IMVU. Together, they agreed to roleplay as the virtual versions of the real life celebrities and have been doing so ever since.

Nine months later, the couple was still as in love with one another as the day they began their courtship, both feeling that they had truly fallen for their best friend. Jim loved that he could truly be himself around Chrissy and the way she made him laugh, relishing in the thought that he had never been involved in a relationship such as theirs. Keeping that in mind, Jim managed to convince Chrissy’s sister to take her shopping for a dress, ensuring her that it was merely just for picture taking. When their shopping was complete, Jim brought Chrissy to a beautifully decorated beach-setting, where he was waiting for her on bended knee. Chrissy was taken by surprise as she eventually joined him and then stood speechless as he confessed his love for her before asking her to be his wife. Ecstatic, Chrissy said yes!

Soon after the proposal, however, Jim started to notice small changes in his fiancee’s eating habits as well as in her appearance. He believed that she was pregnant but, when he confronted Chrissy, she simply laughed and assured him that it was just a little weight gain but it seemed that her loved ones agreed with Jim’s theory, prompting them to purchase a few pregnancy tests just to be sure. The tests confirmed that Chrissy was, indeed, pregnant! Knowing that her husband-to-be had a desire to be a father once more, Chrissy chose to announce her pregnancy to him in a special way. She placed the positive test into a gift box, wrapped it with a bow, and gave it to him to open. It was a wonderful surprise for Jim, making both he and Chrissy ecstatic.

The couple decided to wait until the birth to find out the sex of the baby and, on June 23, 2016 at 12:25AM, Chrissy gave Jim a beautiful baby girl. They named her Keeyari Jones and she, of course, became their little princess, the perfect addition to their family. The pair is now planning their wedding, which is set for August 17, 2016.

Chrissy and Jim’s relationship was not quite picture perfect but, despite the bumps in the road that they encountered, they both gained true happiness within each other, making their union stronger. Although some couples claim to have found love at first sight, most relationships require time and dedication in order to become something beautiful. Many can take note of how Jim remained patient, persistent, and honest about his feelings for Chrissy and, even though she may have been hesitant, she remained open-minded enough to allow Jim to break down her walls and show her what true love really meant. His hard work and her willingness to trust again brought the pair together in a way that very few will ever experience, giving them, both, a chance to not only gain a best friend but a partner for life.
