Hair Show with SisterzInUnity and EB Pearls

Honey’s Event Review The EB Pearls & SIU Hairshow was filled with a variety of different hairstyles and colors. I had a chance to sit down with NayMarCianO for an interview. She is the founder of SIU (SisterzInUnity) organization. “This event is different from any other typical greek-related event,” according to SIU President. The categories of the show were Fire Hair, Cone Head Hair, and Red Bomb Hair. The looks varied from futuristic type of theme to chic and old-school flintstones style. The models featured in tonight’s show were KandyyB, Yazmir, Only1Trazy, SevyRose, and llL0VLYll. The winners tonight were rocking it and well-deserved. The winners were determined by creativity and overall, having fun while modeling. The winners starting in third place were; Yazmir, her looks were created with a chic touch; in second place was KandyyB, her look was created with a splash of a fun personality; and in the first place, the winner was Sevyrose, with looks ranging from spicy to futuristic. The event had a pretty good turnout, with a very well properly organized show. The ladies slew with style and class!

What is the name of your organization?

SIU: Sisterz In Unity.

Which organization is that collaborating with you?

EB Pearls.

How did you both come up with this idea?

Well, we were brainstorming and wanted something different yet fun, then Nikki actually came up with the idea!

Who thought of this Collaboration for this event?

Nicky, the founder of EB Pearls.

How is this different from other events you do?

Well, we want our guests to be interactive in a fun environment.

What are you hoping to accomplish with this event?

We want everyone to enjoy themselves, for one, and, to give everyone something to look forward to in the future.

How many people are expected to attend?

You know, I go in expecting nothing, that way it turns out better than expected.

What creators will be featured?

That’s a secret, it’s still in the works.

How many models will there be at the event have?

We have about 5 or 6, a few more may show.

What hairstyles will we be seeing?

That’s actually up to each of the models, we want them to be spontaneous and have fun.

Are there prizes included for the winners and runners-up?

Well, 1st place gets 15k, 2nd gets 10k and 3rd gets 5k.

What will you be looking for when choosing the winner?

We want to get a few judges to help with choosing and include the audience, as well. We also will be looking for CREATIVITY.

Will you be doing any more fashion related events in the future?

Depending on how well this one goes, we just might!
